Summary/Abstract: Intercommunity development associations are private law associative structures, of public utility, assimilated to public authorities, through which two or more administrative-territorial units decide to cooperate in order to jointly develop regional projects. From this series of characteristics, there are various legal effects, and due to the lack of a unitary normative act, different interpretations could occur.
