Working With the Score – Basic Theoretical and Practical Aspects. Characteristics of the Process of Initial Reading and Analysis of Scores for Choir and Symphony Orchestra

Summary/Abstract: From numerous sources, as well as the author’s long creative practice, it is possible to derive the following three stages related to reading and playing scores, thus facilitating its absorption and re-creation by the means of piano: reading, analysis, reproduction (playing). These three stages are characterized with their clear logic of order and correspond with the inner harmony characteristic to many three-staged processes of wider philosophical meaning. Their order is not arbitrary and by no means can be ignored.
