Summary/Abstract: The development of a particular sport is tied to public interest in that sport. In this study the authors tend to discover how this relation is expressed. In the context of the procedure in this paper was used correlation analysis and related regression analysis on the basis of which we have tried to examine whether and to what extent the transition potential depends on the quality of BH sport and the security situation on the ground in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The regression and correlation analysis, indicators of potential transition, as dependent or criterion variables, are defined as the presence and quality of BH sport perceived by the general public, and the interests and the need to follow the sport both on the sports field and in the media.
