Summary/Abstract: Based on the idea that the teaching process involves the transformation and adaptation of scientific knowledge to be assimilated by learners, this research aims to identify the stages of the didactic transposition of linguistic knowledge process concerning the possession domain. Thus, it is proposed to describe the different stages of the didactic transposition process and the working instruments that a FLE teacher has for the construction of a discourse in class. We will first of all stop at the process of manuélisation of the possession relationship – the stages of the journey from the notion of possession in the Romanian handbooks of FLE for the 5th and 6th grades, L2. In the second part of the text, we will examine the knowledge learned by the students as it appears in a written test proposed before two classes of 6th and 8th graders in order to evaluate the acquisition of content elements related to the field of possession.
