CONCEPTUAL MODELS AND SYSTEMS FOR PERSONAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Summary/Abstract: Personal learning environments represents a new approach in the learning process, which consists of the application of various tools and Web 2.0 technologies. This approach allows collaboration, cooperation and sharing of content between users. With this approach, students have the opportunity to take control and manage their learning. Students themselves can define learning objectives. Also they can manage the content and process of learning and during that process they communicate with others and achieve better results in the learning process. Personal learning environments systems include formal and informal forms of learning using social networks by linking a series of resources and systems within the personal organized space of learning.
