Summary/Abstract: The most painful moment in people’s lives – death of someone dear – is always difficultly approached in ethnographic interviews. This is the reason why this research paper is a short radiography of the funeral rituals on the Tarnavelor Valley, a radiography that highlights some differences and similarities in the funeral traditions practiced in the Tarnavelor Valley villages.
