Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the issue of compatibility between managers’ attitudes and actions addressed to workers aged 55+. The aim of presented research was verify whether advantages assigned to elder workers are convergent with the requirements for new employees. In case of such a convergence the additional aim was to verify whether actions are taken to encourage senior workers to prolong their working activity. The present research was conducted with 198 students workers. The results indicate a discrepancy between employers’ beliefs and actions targeted at elderly workers.
