Summary/Abstract: At the end of this chapter, it is worth mentioning the effort to promote the model elaborated by UNESCO, carried out by Romanian National Commission for UNESCO. We consider the „Conclusions of a workshop”, entitled „De la lege la reforma învăţământului” (The Law and The Educational Reform). These conclusions could have been a benchmark for all the political decision factors cyclical involved in the promotion of the reform since 1993 until now (see UNESCO. Romanian National Commission for UNESCO, De la Lege la Reforma învăţământului. Conclusions of a workshop, 1993). In conclusion, we would like to point out the following methodological suggestions summarized in the quoted text, ranged depending on the problems developed in the direction of education system reform: 1) The reform type indicated in Romanian current social-economic, political and cultural context. - „Romania should undergo a global and complex reform, planned and scheduled for 6-8 years, its fundamental purpose being the acknowledgement of society’s cultural – ethical life and democracy’s progress. - The „Philosophy or the reform ideology should be presented within a published project which stimulates and orients all social structures and all agents interested in the success of such a social-educational transformation”.
