Officer Cooperative in the Kingdom of Serbia and SHS/Yugoslavia and problems of its distributive network

Summary/Abstract: One of major problems of the Officer cooperative as the major supplies for the officer corps was its narrow distributive network. Growing number of officers, as result of enlargment of state territory, as well as constant widening of activities within the institution, made this problem even more complex. Certain attempts to widen the distributive network, including private entrepreneurs, weren’t succesful. As a result, purchase of uniform and other equipment always needed substantial expenses.
