Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the necessity to apply forecasting in the social technology, called PR. The aim of forecasting is to overcome uncertainty by way of designing scientific models of subject’s future behavior of communication relationships, considering the influence of varied external factors.Forecasting in PR is the creation of multiple probabilities for approaches and solutions, for concrete measures, for ways out, and for options showing the future state of a system behavior and consequently the respective reactions of the PR specialists.
