Summary/Abstract: During the period from 1804 to 1940, nutrition of Serbian hence yugoslаv army has been significantly improved in organizational, qualitative and quantitative aspects. The beginning was „in its own clothing and bread“, up to the modern organizated system of nutrition, from delivering to food preparation in the kitchen of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The most important factor, which had the greatest influence on the quality of organization of nutrition are economic possibilities of the countries in question which gave their army maximum in the given circumstances.
