Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the seacrhing for the new educational forms – a process associated with rethinking of traditional standpoints and ordinary school practices in relation to the technological and humanitarian contexts created by digital technologies. To elucidate the nature of the digital game in order to raise a question about its applicability as educational tool is the main purpose of this inquiry. The digitalization engender optimistic theories about putting of the digital technologies into the educational practice but It could be asserted that these theories have to be proven in everyday school life yet. Although its undeniable potentialities technology itself is not capable to arouse a positive turn in education because the crucial cause for such a turn is human.
