Summary/Abstract: This article’s narrative is devoted to the interpretation of Sonatina for Violin and Piano (1979) by Lazar Nikolov – one of the most important representatives of “New Music” in Bulgaria. The author shares her personal experience regarding performance problems, since stereotypes of such type are not possible in this work. Violin dynamics, articulation and fingering solutions are presented.
