Summary/Abstract: This study paints the portrait of two giants of the 20th century, the fi rst representing theological thinking (K. Rahner) and the second championing theological feeling (H. U. von Balthasar). The dialectical mode of presenting these two fi gures familiarizes the reader with two worlds of thought which strive, each in its own manner, to interpret the same Christian mysteries.
