Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on some specific difficulties in the teaching ofBulgarian literature out of context of Bulgarian educational system. The authoremphasize the theses that the teaching of Bulgarian literature in the Bulgarian schooltraditionally is associated with the building of some qualities which are considereduseful. Such approach is not efficient and leads to understanding of the Bulgarianliterature in the foreign environment. The teaching should be compared with thepersonal experience of the students.
