Summary/Abstract: In classical cultural anthropology, the Other is the subject of reflection and the focus of the civilized world’s gaze. Perpetuated in film (cinema and television), the civilized gaze onto the „savage”. The levels of savageness are analyzed in the paper in tables, as the corresponding aspects are being grossly highlighted in popular culture TV and cinema entertainment for the ideological cut to be more visible. Thus, appearance, ability to use office related objects, social skills are the targets of the civilizers and undergo a slow transformation, while the interest groups around the savage are constantly shaping.
