Sexuality of people with hearing disability

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to draw attention to the issue of sexuality of people with impaired hearing. This theme is undertaken not often in the deliberations on the ground of special education. A frequently neglected paradigm concerns mostly the context of persons with intellectual disabilities. Very little attention is drawn to comments on sexuality of people with hearing impairments. The article contains a piece of research on partnership and sexuality of a group of people with hearing disability. According to research done in certain areas (sexual harassment) the knowledge owned by people with hearing disability seems sufficient, in others, however, (contraception, health protection) there is still much to be done.
