Summary/Abstract: The article undertakes the topic of current and important problems of young and adult deaf-blind people with a low level of everyday functionality – people who finished their, in most cases special education on school level and are experiencing, after that period of their life has ended, multiple hardships in social and professional self-fulfillment. At the same time, they find themselves in a situation, in which the legislatively propounded social help doesn’t meet their real needs, which can lead to the leveling of their personal and social activity, limitation of life plans and personal ambitions, and, even – alienation and despondency towards what is happening around them.
