Relationships with Stakeholders in International Research Projects in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The paper investigates the main areas of friction between managers and stakeholders of scientificprojects. Five areas are defined and examples of problems are given. Not unlike similar research inother countries, the main factors influencing the overall efficiency of the management process are:communication, lack of institutional support, attitudes towards the project, financing system and lackof industry interest. The findings and limitations are laid out and the ways of developing the researchinto other research projects are pointed out.
