Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the second is the presentation of the concept and research on the meaning of work. Feeling of realizing worthless tasks is one of the most common sources of stress. The author presents not only the results of research on problems with feeling meaning at work, but also - on the basis of an analysis of empirical premises and theories - he proposes countermeasures that organizations and workers can apply. Particular emphasis in this chapter is placed on the latest proposals solutions supporting a sense of meaning at work.
