Summary/Abstract: Short description: This paper is based on the methodology of work of cultural anthropology, including field research, conversation, and participatory observation. There have been conducted several interviews with curators of this complex, local residents living in the village, tourists visiting the complex, analyzes during our survey several times in this region, research of audio visual materials and analysis based on some related theories related to memorials. Our focus has been in the conserved homes for visitors, the cemetery and family museum with a permanent exhibition as well as the Jashari family who lives in the yard of the complex. The Adem Jashari Complex includes a part of the material and spiritual heritage of Kosova's newest history. It is the most visited country in Kosova where besides the tourists in this place are paid homage and are honored martyrs of this family and village.
