Neutrality of money and the concept of sustainable development

Summary/Abstract: Neutrality of money finds limited confirmation with reference to the level of economic growth and the level of unemployment and it holds true only from long-term and aggregated perspective. From sustainable point of view short and medium-term non-neutrality of money together with adjustment mechanisms leading to long-term neutrality is vital. It is necessary to examine potential redistributive effects in various cross sections – income, regional, industrial, intergenerational and others.
