Summary/Abstract: Polish writer Wilhelm Przeczek (1936 Karviná – 2006 Třinec) met the Polish poet and publicist Wiesław Kazanecki (1939-1989) in July 1968 at the Gdynia Writers 'Literature Course organized by the Main Committee of the Polish Teachers' Union. Since then, their correspondence has been dated. The letters of W. Kazanecki addressed to W. Przeczek complement not only the picture of the life of the prematurely deceased and talented poet, but they are mediated by the stones in the mosaic of the biographer's biography living long-term in Bystřice nad Olší. Also noteworthy are Przeczek's comments, which illuminate much of what was just outlined in the letters and what was originally intended only for the addressee of this correspondence. The book epistolography „Listy Wiesława Kazaneckiego do Wilhelma Przeczka” ("Letters of Wiesław Kazanecki to Wilhelm Przeczeka") in any case brought a contribution to the picture of Polish literature at Czech Teschen Silesia, a pity only that no other spokeswoman from the Czech border was given a voice in the books.
