Summary/Abstract: With this descriptive study, it was aimed that innovation is evaluated and presented by the personnel in two public hospitals in Bingöl. Survey method was used as a data collection tool. In that respect, 123 healthcare professionals were contacted. The data was analysed using SPSS 22.0 software and frequency analysis was implemented. It was found that most of the participants are female, nurse, married and have associate’s degree. In terms of innovation, it was found that managers are important information sources, managers and staff play a key role, the most significant obstacle is lack of financial sources and innovation is mostly implemented for improving the healthcare service quality. Innovative works in medical institutions should continue increasingly in terms of individual and community health and appropriate organization environment should be provided and employees should be motivated in that direction.
