THE REFORMS OF SERVIUS TULLIUS – A MODEL OF SOCIAL AND POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT

Summary/Abstract: At the middle of the sixth century BC, Rome was crushed by the conflict between patricians and plebeians. The king Servius Tullius reduced the conflict by two reforms: social and administrative. By these reforms, he revitalized the society and created the Roman state.
