Summary/Abstract: Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar’s “Huzur" novel is a work that supports novelist truth in terms of Rene Girard’s triangular desire model. The desire of novel’s characters to subject isn’t spontaneously as Rene Girard critize it as “romantic lie". Because o f the copyist nature of desire in novel, there is certainly a mediator as in the role of rival or supreme individual in front of all subjects. In this study, by introducing the model of triangular desire concerning the fiction of literary structure, sort of character analysis that is a part of Huzur novel’s fıctional adventure, was made. Thus, an important progress was made intented to approve the consistency between fıctional elements of mentioned novel.
