In recent years, the matters with Turkish teaching and the parents’ negative attitudes against the Turkish courses have decreased the interest for Turkish courses. Some of the matters that we detected from Turkish and Turkish culture courses books which are prepared by the Ministry of National Education are as followed: the course books’ being above students’ level, only one course book being prepared for the combined classes, students from different levels being required to read the same course books, the activities’ not attracting students’ attention, language, culture and religion issues being given in the same course books and etc.
