Summary/Abstract: The author outlines the activities of British intelligence agents in Austria, related to the organisation of the resistance movement, using as a basis the records from the interrogation of the said agents, carried out by the Yugoslav Department of National Security (OZNA). Having failed to accomplish their mission in Austria, the British agents contacted the Slovene national liberation movement which facilitated their return to their bases in Southern Italy. Because of the tensions that had developed between the partisan leadership and the British agents and members of the western allied mission, these were placed under the surveillance of the OZNA organisation, which carried out the tasks of military intelligence for the Yugoslav resistance movement.
