Summary/Abstract: Based on the work of Gilbert Keith Chesterton and Clive Staples Lewis, the author analyzes the role of humor in the Christian spirituality and the connection between humor with faith in God and entrusting to God. First, it shows in which sense God is the source and fundament of humor as such, then explains the concept of “God's humor”, and finally deals with eschatology as a part of theology that should show Christian humor and joy in a special way. The author concludes that both writers regarded humor as an inalienable element of Christian faith in God.
