Summary/Abstract: An accessory is an item that compliments and completes clothing in women’s clothing, creating an effect of harmony or contrast with color or material. The choice of accessories in clothing is as important as the choice of clothing. Bags can be obtained from various materials such as leather, leather, fabric, leather, and knitting, and it is one of the indispensable accessories for women. In the declaration, the application stages of the knit bag design inspired by the hand braid bridal sock motifs belonging to the Sivas region were included in the five bag models designed from socks belonging to different regions. In bag design, care has been taken to ensure that the motif and color characteristics are close to the source of inspiration. In the bag material applied, natural yarn jute was preferred and inspiration was painted by the researcher in accordance with the color of the stock. The bag design and application phases are supported by photographs. With this study, it has been tried to provide awareness about the survival of today’s designs with designs made from hand knit socks motifs which are important in our culture. The usability of the jute yarn in the knitting machine has been tried. Besides, it is thought that it is important in terms of being a source for those who want to make such applications since the stages of production of knitted bags are included.
