Summary/Abstract: This text presents the origin and functioning of the Everyday Life Research Archive [Archiwum Badań nad Życiem Codziennym; www.archiwum.edu.pl]. An initiative originating in Poznań, the archive collects, processes, and makes accessible all types of materials concerning research into daily life in Poland from the prewar period to contemporary times. An important aspect of the undertaking is the stimulation of new research and the preparation of works on the subject of the sociology of everyday life.
