The Rule of Speciality in the European Arrest Warrant Procedure

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the principle of specialty in the European arrest warrant procedure. It is divided into three sections. While the first section presents general issues, the second section is focused on the European arrest warrant procedure. The third section deals with the impact of the decision-making power of the Court of Justice of the European Union on the rule of specialty in the light of the case of Leymann & Pustovarov (C-388/08).
