Summary/Abstract: Discrimination refers to the equal and unfair evaluation of individuals on the basis of religion, language, race, gender, ethnic origin, political thought, although there is no significant difference between them. Gender discrimination is the case when an individual behaves differently than he or she should be because his or her gender is female. Gender discrimination, which is one of the most common forms of discrimination in the labor market from the past to the present day, takes place at two levels. The first is the discrimination experienced by the womanman- work she lives in when she enters the working life. Today, at this stage, the problems of aesthetic labor are among the problems of discrimination in which women live in origin. The second level of discrimination occurs after the recruitment, wages, promotion, part-time and low-status jobs. Discrimination in women's promotion process leads to glass ceiling problems in the labor market. In this study, it is aimed to raise awareness of the problems experienced in the work life by trying to examine the discrimination against women in the legal framework.
