Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the predictive role of metacognitive skills on anger levels and problem solving skills in adolescents in the context of socio-demographic factors such as gender and educational status of parents. The study was carried out with 120 high school students, 67 of whom were girls and 53 boys, who were studying in various schools in Bartin, Istanbul, Izmir, Edirne and Zonguldak in the 2017-2018 academic year. In the study, the Problem Solving Ability Scale was used as a structured scale with the Metacognitive Awareness Scale for Children. Participants also completed a sociodemographic information form.
