Summary/Abstract: This study explored the influence of job analysis on organizational performance among 180 small and medium scale enterprises in Lagos, Nigeria. Data was obtained using structured questionnaires and analysis of company financial statements. The analysis was done using statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 20 and the results obtained showed that proper job analysis improves productivity at work, efficiency and organizational profitability. Findings also showed that there are significant challenges that hamper the effective implementation of job analysis in SMEs in Lagos. The study thus recommended that entrenching a company policy of robust talent management and job analysis in order to bring about continuous improvement of staff performance and organizational efficiency.
