Summary/Abstract: The current empirical study aims to explore students‘ attitudes towards entering the teaching profession. Through anonymous surveys the opinions of the trainees about the pre-graduate pedagogical practice they have done are summarized and analyzed – what skills do they acquire, what are their recommendations, do they feel prepared to work as teachers, do they intend to commit themselves to the profession and what are their future professional expectations of their work as teachers. Recommendations are made to handle problems in pedagogical practice and build professional competence.
