Aggrieved contribution in insurance procedure

Summary/Abstract: The article is about contribution in insurance procedure in insurance companies. Aggrieved injured in claim event, can claim a compensation from an insurance company. In the first part of the article there are objectives of thesis and main assumptions described. Insurance company investigating the case, measures amount of damage and grants compensation. It also checks that aggrieved contributs to the claim event. If that is confirmed, a liquidator judges how much. Then the compensation is lowered percentage. The author of this article carried on more than 400 compensation procedures. Only in 5% of them (19 cases) insurance company decided about aggrieved contribution. All of the 19 cases are discribed. They are chronological arranged and divided into four groups: hit pedestrians, passengers, motorcyclists, at work. In every example there is a description of events course, evidences and liquidators judgement of contribution. In this way, the author tried to check, if there is one evaluation system of contribution. The contribution is regulated in only one article in Civil Code.
