Terrorism – evolution or the stagnation of the notion

Summary/Abstract: The article considers how the understanding of the term “terrorism” has changed, and if so, how it is different from it’s previous meaning. In this aim the words terror – terrorism had been analyzed, redefined and described the branches of terrorism. The article points out the difference in using the term “violence” by state and by organization, by providing appropriate examples. It was shown on the growth of connections between terroristic organizations from various states, near the simultaneous laxity of structures inside terroristic organizations themselves.
