The Family As A Foundation Of Security Based On An Analysis Of The Results Of Own Studies

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of empirical research, which concerned the opinion of students of the Faculty of the National Security Department of the National Defense Academy on the sense of security in the modern family. The research method that was a survey, the research technique was a questionnaire and the research tool – author’s original questionnaire. The study was conducted among 190 students of the third year WBN AON in 2016. It was a random selection of students. On the basis of her research, the author formulated the following conclusion: in the modern family, the most important function ensuring a sense of security for family members is the material-economic function, care and protection, cultural, socialization, educational and religious functions.
