Basik Trends of the Development of Ukrainian Novel

Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the main ways of modern Ukrainian novel in its style and genres. In particular, it refers to how Ukrainian literary comprehend modern literary process in the light of changing postmodernism to post-postmodernism / authentism, while highlighting a few stylistic trends: neomodern, postmodern , neopopulist. The author considers these opinions, mainly focusing on the search for modern Ukrainian genre novelists, analyzing such a novel varieties in their art, both historical and its transformation, family, “youth”, biographical, novel-dystopia, and notes a growing interest in the writers of the human person, unshakable moral values.
