Summary/Abstract: Contrary to the common assumption, “Ta‟wil (interpretation) methodology”, has come into a existence from the internal dynamics of Islamic thought, which has provided Islamic scholars and thinkers especially the Islamic theologians (Kalam scholars) with great openings and facilities to understand and interpret Islamic texts. Thus, “ta‟wil methodolgy”, provides theologians of Islam (Kalam scholars) with very significant oppurtunities and facilities in the course of the development of Islamic thought to establish firmly or reasoned thoughts or approaches which they have accepted or adopted. “Ta‟wil methodology” has not been limited just to a period it has influenced. Contrary to this, it has still continued to serve those wishing to express their religious views and approaches with different categories. In other words, Islamic Kalam (theology) of the 21th century have benefited today to a large extent from the methodology under some particular conditions in understanding and interpreting the religious nasses even in the modern period and have started to discuss the presentations of “ta‟wil methodology”.
