Summary/Abstract: Purpose – This study aims to determine the mediating role of managerial resourcefulness level in the impact of hotel managers’ self-efficacy believes on their decision-making styles. With this end in view, a model for determining the impact of self-efficacy and managerial resourcefulness on decision-making styles was developed and analyses were made. Design:/Methodology/Approach – As the method of analysis, regression and Sobel test were used. The independent variable of the research is self-efficacy, whereas mediating variable is managerial resourcefulness and the dependent variable is decision-making styles. Self-efficacy scale which was developed by Magaletta and Oliver (1999) and validity and reliability tests of which were done by Yıldırım and İlhan (2010), managerial resourcefulness scale which was developed by Kanungo and Menon (2005), and decision-making styles scale which was developed by Scott and Bruce (1995) were used in order to collect data for the study. Due to the accessibility of the whole population of the study, sampling was not needed and data were collected from the whole population of the study. As field study part of the research, questionnaires were applied to the top managers and department managers of the 4- and 5-star hotels in Nevşehir and its districts. Findings – In the result of the study, it was determined that self-efficacy and managerial resourcefulness had a positive impact on decision-making styles and that managerial resourcefulness played a mediating role. Discussion – In line with the results of this study, it could be argued that if the hotel businesses are in an attitude that supports the development of managers’ belief of self-efficacy and their level of managerial resourcefulness, then they can help the managers decide effectively. If the managers improve their belief of self-efficacy, then they can also improve their problem-solving skills because they will be managerially resourceful too in this way and they can achieve successful results through their decisions because they can.
