Summary/Abstract: In this article, the results of a field research that was carried out demonstrate the psychological effects of prayers and worships on adolescents’ mental health. The results of the questions were examined in the context of perception of prayer-worship and mental health. A questionnaire was applied to randomly selected sample of 450 adolescent studying at secondary schools in the province of Bursa, which is assumed to represent the whole population of adolescents in Bursa. The statistics used to analyze the gathered data included chi-square test along with other descriptive statistics such as frequencies, means and percentages. The results of statistical analyses revealed that the prayer and worship in the adolescence period have positive psychological effects upon mental health of adolescents.
