Summary/Abstract: The article is a continuation of the study of German-language manuscript texts from the 19th century, found in the archives of the Skrzatusz sanctuary. The analyzed sermon on the sixth Sunday after Easter (VI. Sontag nach Ostern), or rather because of the brevity – the homiletic preaching, is written in the form of a homily to the words of the Gospel of Saint John (15,26–16,6,4), basically to its first two verses about the promise of Jesus to send the Comforter – the Holy Spirit. The content of a homily with a very simple and transparent structure (two parts with three elements each) is addressed to believers in the parish. Faith in the work of the Holy Spirit in the Church for centuries encourages them to give witness of faith. This should be done by teaching the brothers in the home environment (“the apostle in his environment”), and even in the pub towards religious disputes, by the compability of his faith with works (“faith without works is dead, and works without faith are like a tree without a root”), fight against moral defects (jealousy, drunkenness, adultery, miserliness, usury, vengefulness, impatience) and the sanctity of life in the love of God, neighbor and enemies and finally through “holy death”.
