Summary/Abstract: One of the central research problems of contemporary sociology of sexuality refers to the need for redefining the concept of sexuality in the light of growing influence of the network connectivity technology. Being intertwined with contemporary forms of consumer activism, internet pornography has become part of everyday life experience and a relatively large number of its consumers answer the questions about their own sexual identity under the influence of the content they consume. The global electronic network is one of the important operational techniques of biopolitical power that can be discerned in the process of modification of the contemporary politics of sexual identity to the particular interests of the entertainment industry.
