Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the blended learning and teaching models applied in several study groups at the Faculty of Science and Education, University of Mostar. The research focuses on students’ engagement in a blended learning environment which includes continuous monitoring, peer tutoring and assessment schemes in evaluation of e-learning systems. The research includes graduate students who attend courses on E-learning systems (ELS) (N1=39), and Evaluation of e-learning systems (EELS) (N2=14). The teaching process is organized in line with the sub-model based on the rotation model, called the flipped classroom. In addition to the basic learning content, the EELS students perform the role of peer tutors in monitoring and analyzing the activities of the ELS students. The teaching process includes the period of traditional teaching (approx. 30% of the total time), and the period of online teaching (approx. 70% of the total time). The research provides a stimulating experience for both teachers and students, and the results in terms of the final grades, which range from very good to excellent, are encouraging as well.
