Fraud in European expenditure funds - between the present and the future

Summary/Abstract: A recent legislative proposal under public debate on the website of the Ministry of Justice, on amending Law no. 78/2000 for the implementation of the Directive 2017/1371, determined us to analyze the current national provisions, the provisions of the Directive and the proposed amendment for the implementation in the national legislation of the union provisions. I have come to the conclusion that the proposed amendment can be improved in relation to the current form.
