Summary/Abstract: The typewriter Hammonia was invented by Andreas Hansen from Hamburg in 1882. In 1884, the company Guhl & Harbeck from Hamburg started its production. „Paul Păltănea“ History Museum of Galaţi owns such an item, as part of its „Science and Technics“ Collection (registered under no. 40374), manufactured between 1884-1885.
