Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine whether banks with foreign origin of capital are more inclined to accept and apply change management than banks with domestic origin of capital in B&H. The research problem is in the imbalance of the likelihood for change management between banks with domestic and banks with foreign origin of capital. Change management is the fundamental "backbone" of the long-term competitive advantage and performance of banks in the market. During the research, a theoretical approach to literature was used, which included analyzing a large number of texts in the field of change management, strategic management and human resource management. The empirical part of this research was conducted by using the questionnaire survey and appropriate methodology. Target population in this research were active B&H employees in different organizational levels. Scientific methods that have been used are statistical, descriptive, analysis and synthesis, comparative and evidence-based methods. The research has shown that in banks with domestic origin of capital has a higher degree of resistance to change management compared to banks with foreign capital in BiH.
