Lexical and communicative aspects of Slavic intercomprehension

Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses some lexical and communicative aspects of Slavicintercomprehension. The article presents a transitional stage between the availabilityof information value in translingual communication and non-understanding. It seemslikely that the analysis of translingual communication itself may secondarily verifythe theory of understanding language messages. At the same time, the reflectionon the positive transfer − its meaning and scope − is one of the most important elementsof the contemporary language policy of the united Europe.
